Review: Spent a good night at The Feathers. The courtyard offered a lovely ambiance for our meal, and the attentive service enhanced our experience. Room was spotlessly clean with a cozy decor, although parking can be a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to returning soon! , rating: 9, date of stay: 2024-05-15}

I loved the prime location of this hotel-right in the center of town! It made it super easy to explore local shops and restaurants. The bar was cozy, always buzzing with people, and the staff were cute which added to the vibe. Plus, the room was nicely decorated and clean, making for a comfy stay overall!
The service left a lot to be desired. One staff member was pretty rude during my visit, and it really put a damper on the experience. I had some issues with the heating in my room, which made it uncomfortably hot at times. Not what you want after a long day of exploring!

I had a fantastic stay at the Feathers, where the staff made me feel welcome. everyone was cheerful and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The meals were really good, with a full English breakfast that I loved. I appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary bottle of Prosecco for my anniversary, which made our experience even more nice. The comfortable room and helpful service rounded off a wonderful visit.
No complaints at all! 😊.

The addition of a Nespresso machine was a good perk, allowing me to enjoy fresh coffee at any time. The database also showed impressive attention to detail, providing me with everything I needed for a perfect getaway.
One minor drawback was the limited Wi-Fi speed in the evenings, which made streaming challenging. this slight inconvenience hardly detracted from my enjoyable stay.

Perfect for a chill getaway
Really enjoyed our stay! Super friendly staff. The location is fab, right near some cute cafes and shops. We had a Classic Double Room, comfy, but the parking situation was a bit of a hassle. Wish we could have had more dining options instead of just sandwiches.
